Bhagavat Katha Maha Yajna

On behalf of the Sri Sri Radha Giridhari temple, we are very happy to invite you all for a special Janmashtami celebration this year. We have organised a Bhagavad Saptah in Hindi by H.G. Achal Krishna Dasa from

25 August to 31 August 2010

in the temple from 6pm to 9pm everyday followed by Prasadam. For the first time, we have organised a special Bhagavatam Agnihotra Yajna on 1 September 2010 followed by the Janmashatami celebrations on 2 September 2010.

"Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend."(BG 18.65 )

To enable everyone to have this wonderful opportunity of serving the Lord by thinking of him and worshiping him, we would like all of you to come and hear Srimad Bhagavatam and relish the glories of the Lord.
 

"Srimad-Bhagavatam is declared to be the essence of all Vedanta philosophy. One who has felt satisfaction from its nectarean mellow will never be attracted to any other literature." (SB 12.13.15)
 

Apart from Bhagavad Katha, one can also engage in other services like:

• Sponsor the Bhagavatam Pothi for $1008.00
• Participate in the Bhagavad Agnihotra Yagna
• Participate in the special Abhisheka on Janmashtami day

Those who sponsor the Bhagavatam set will also get a free participation in the Yagna and the Janmastami abhisheka. Special Mantras for you and your family will be chanted during the yajna. You name will also be displayed in the prasadam hall. This can be paid in easy installments or by credit card as convenient. There are other sponsorship opportunities options as well. One can sponsor a day's prasadam during the Bhagavad Katha for $500.00 or sponsor the Maha Arati for $250.00 or sponsor the Flowers for $250.00

This year we are endeavoring to do something special for Sri Sri Radha Giridhari. With your help and encouragement, we can make this a grand event. We would like to thank all our patrons and well wishers who have always supported us in the Janmashatami celebrations in the past and look forward to their continued support this year too.
